After-School Classes

Yoga and Mindfulness for kids (aged 5 to 12) and teens (aged 13+).

 

Yoga encourages children to understand the connection between the mind and body,

fostering a holistic approach to health and wellness.

 

Our after-school yoga sessions focus on building strength, flexibility, mindfulness, and relaxation techniques

through playful and age-appropriate yoga poses.

Through a blend of breathing exercises, yoga games, storytelling, and creative activities,

we aim to foster not just physical health but also emotional resilience, concentration, and stress relief in children.

We prioritize creating a welcoming and inclusive space where children feel safe and comfortable exploring yoga.

Carina is adept at catering to individual needs and ensuring a supportive environment for all participants.

 

Yoga and Mindfulness support children in many ways:

  • Enhances body-awareness, strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination

All our classes combine a blend of specialised yoga therapy exercises, powerful breathing techniques,

partner and group games, visualisation and meditation, mindfulness activities and time to self-reflect.

Kids - aged 5 to 12

To empower and support children throughout their schooling years, so they have not only the academic skills, but also the social and emotional skills that will equip them for life.  They will have a deeper understanding of how to support themselves when facing life’s challenges and be more capable of creating and fulfilling their potential.

Starting Monday 5th August 2024

Teens - aged 13+

The program educates adolescents on calming techniques and managing their emotions, equipping them with strategies to cope with anxiety and stress. It assists in identifying and avoiding getting caught up in others' emotional complexities, resulting in improved sleep and enhanced cognitive clarity for teenagers. Ultimately, this initiative empowers teens not just to navigate present challenges but also to cultivate the self-esteem and resilience needed to tackle future obstacles confidently.
